What are the Box Office opening hours?
The Box Office is open from Monday to Friday 10am-5pm, and also 1 hour prior to the start of an evening or weekend performance. Times may be subject to change on event days and public holidays. You can book tickets 24 hours a day through our website.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made;
- in person using cash
- in person by cheque with a valid cheque guarantee card
- in person using a debit or credit card
- on the internet or telephone using a debit or credit card
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro.
Do you charge a booking fee on tickets?
A charge of £1 per transaction applies to all bookings made via the telephone or on the internet, and also on card payments made in person.
Why don’t you include the booking fee into the ticket price?
We do not include the booking fee within the cost of tickets due to the fact that on average, 75% of our income from ticket sales automatically goes to event producers and touring companies. The income generated from booking fees contributes to maintaining our box office while the profits from ticket sales help to maintain our programming.
Can you post my tickets to me?
We don’t post tickets out but you do have the option to print your tickets at home or to collect them from the box office free of charge.
I can’t come to the performance, will you refund or exchange my tickets?
All sales are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except when an event is cancelled or in exceptional circumstances. This is at the discretion of the Business Manager or Programme Manager and may need further evidence, e.g. a hospital letter. We can resell unwanted tickets, however Harrow Arts Centre’s unsold tickets take priority.
Can I reserve tickets for a performance?
Unfortunately we cannot reserve tickets for any performance.
I’m running late, can I still watch the show?
Our doors usually open approximately 30 minutes before the start time of an event and we recommend people aim to arrive early and enjoy a drink in Daisy’s in the Arts. However if you are late, in order to minimise disruption our stewards will aim to seat you as quickly as possible to the nearest seat, in a suitable break in the performance.
What time does the show finish?
Where known, show end times are listed on individual event pages. Please note that these timings are approximate.
Who can buy your concession tickets?
We offer a range of discounted rates for selected shows including over 60s, under 16s, students, disabled patrons and those in receipt of benefits. Customers can only use one discount per show, e.g. group discounts, promo codes etc. Not all discounts are available on all shows and proof of status may be required.
Do you offer family discounts?
We aim to offer a discount on a wide range of our children and family events. Where advertised, a family ticket consists of 4 tickets, of which there can be a maximum of 2 adults.
Can my child attend a show on their own?
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult with a maximum 4 children per adult. Please note that age ranges for family shows are a guide only.
From what age does my child need a ticket?
Children under 18 months will be admitted free of charge to age appropriate shows, but they must sit on the lap of their respective parent/guardian. Please check with the box office on booking as this does not apply to all events. Any child using a seat will have to pay the normal child ticket price. Please note that age ranges for family shows are a guide only.
Do you cater for access requirements?
We want to make your visit as easy and straightforward as possible, and aim to offer the best facilities to make your trip a success. Please read our Access section for more information about our facilities.
Do you have nearby parking?
Harrow Arts Centre has free parking to the rear of the building as well as a number of disabled spaces. On sold out performances the car park may become full and there is free, overflow parking available at the adjacent Morrisons. Find out how to get to Harrow Arts Centre.
How can I get regular updates about the shows/events at Harrow Arts Centre?
Where can I find out about hiring Harrow Arts Centre for my own event?
Harrow Arts Centre can be hired for your own performance, meeting or event. Please find more information in our Hire Us section.
