A married couple are on the verge of a splitting heartbreak. After their newly married son and wedding guests have left, a wife decides to leave her husband. Tucked away in a house on the hills in the picturesque countryside of the Himalayas, the couple prepare for a harsh winter of home truths that have been left untouched during their two decades of marriage. Confronting each other about the truth of their marriage, the couple struggle to decipher themselves and reach the root of their troubles. The Threshold is one day in the life of two people who seek themselves.
