Harrow Arts Centre is delighted to be working with Endpaper Theatre as an Associate Company.
We believe, with Endpaper, that theatre has the power to break down the barriers and divisions existing in society. Through this partnership, we seek to develop new work with the potential to achieve this and to share it with as large an audience as possible, both onstage and off.
Endpaper Theatre is dedicated to developing and producing new plays inspired by literature. Our aim is to encourage readers to experience more theatre and to encourage theatre-goers to read more. We are also passionate about discovering fresh ways to bring books to life on stage.
To date our full length plays have been adapted from The Diary of a Nobody, Dickens’ Ghost Stories and inspired by the works of Virginia Woolf. We have performed at Canal Cafe Theatre, South Hill Park, Etcetera Theatre and Maltings Arts Theatre. We are currently developing a script inspired by Chapter 7 from Bram Stoker’s Dracula which emerged from our new initiative, Adapt a Chapter.
Please do get in touch with us if you are interested in our work either as an audience member, a participant in workshops we may be running or as a writer keen on adapting literature. We’d be pleased to hear from you!
