What are the Box Office opening hours?

The Box Office is open from Monday to Friday 10am-5pm, and also 1 hour prior to the start of an evening or weekend performance. Times may be subject to change on event days and public holidays. You can book tickets 24 hours a day through our website.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Payment can be made:

  • In person using cash
  • In person using a debit or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro.
  • Online or over the phone using a debit or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro.

Please note that the Backstage Bar and Cafe accepts card payments only in order to provide a quick and efficient service.

Do you charge a booking fee on tickets?

A charge of £1 per transaction applies to all bookings made via the telephone and online.

Why don’t you include the booking fee into the ticket price?

We do not include the booking fee within the cost of tickets due to the fact that on average, 75% of our income from ticket sales automatically goes to event producers and touring companies. The income generated from booking fees contributes to maintaining our box office while the profits from ticket sales help to maintain our programming.

Can you post my tickets to me?

No sorry, we don’t post tickets but you do have the option to print your tickets at home or to collect them from the Box Office free of charge.

I can’t come to the performance, will you refund or exchange my tickets?

All sales are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except when an event is cancelled or in exceptional circumstances. However, our £1 booking fee for booking online or over the phone is non-refundable.

Can I reserve tickets for a performance?

Unfortunately we cannot reserve tickets for any performance.

I’m running late, can I still watch the show?

Our doors usually open approximately 30 minutes before the start time of an event and we recommend people aim to arrive early and enjoy a drink in the Backstage Bar. However if you are late, in order to minimise disruption our stewards will aim to seat you if and when there is a suitable break in the performance and to the nearest available seat.

What time does the show finish?

Where known, show end-times are listed on individual event pages. Please note that these timings are approximate.

Who can buy our concession tickets?

We offer a range of discounted rates for selected shows including over 60s, under 16s, students, disabled patrons and those in receipt of benefits. Customers can only use one discount per show, e.g. group discounts, promo codes etc. Not all discounts are available on all shows and proof of status may be required.

Do you offer family/group discounts?

We aim to offer a group discount on a wide range of our events. Please check the individual event pages for all applicable discounts.

Can my child attend a show on their own?

All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult with a maximum 4 children per adult. Please note that age ranges for family shows are a guide only.

From what age does my child need a ticket?

Children under 18 months will be admitted free of charge to age appropriate shows, but they must sit on the lap of their respective parent/guardian. Any child using a seat will have to pay the normal child ticket price. Please note that age ranges for family shows are a guide only.
