Samarpan Art School is run by Smita Sonthalia. Smita is an artist, art-teacher and a creative thinker, who blends extensive art experience with modern teaching style to deliver highly impactful art lessons. She has been teaching art for 20 years and has consistently been rated highly by her pupils.
Her students range from beginners to more advanced learners as she tailors her classes based on the expertise level of the cohorts and lays special emphasis on the core techniques and concepts. For example learning about shapes and forms, step-by-step guidance on ‘how to’ draw and color, what material is required etc. The classes cover a range of art topics and styles like sketching, drawing, painting and coloring using various media like pencil, ink, watercolor, pastel and paint (oil or acrylic).

Arts Award
Now get certification and qualification for your child’s artistic abilities with Arts Award. Arts Award is a nationally recognized award and certification provided by Trinity College, London in association with Arts Council, England. More information can be found at : https://www.artsaward.org.uk/. As a certified Arts Award instructor, Smita can now facilitate certifications for her students. The level of certifications will depend on the students’ abilities, readiness and evaluation. All her students can now avail of this added benefit. There is no extra work involved for students. The regular classes will take care of the preparation for qualifications.
