This Pilates class uses a chair to enable you to do Pilates in a safe environment. You can stay seated or use the chair for stability during the standing work or do a mixture of both seated and standing work. 18+ only . I focus on bone health, strengthening, alignment, flexibility and keeping moving.
I have been trained to use small equipment to enhance your practise and to make it more fun but we can also use cushions and towels ! The classes are based on the guiding principles of Joseph Pilates adapted to suit standing and seated exercises.
I follow a 4 week plan so you can really learn and enhance your movement with coordination, strength and precision. I want you to enjoy your class so adapt classes to suit the clients that attend. Practicing the main principles will achieve an integrated mind-body workout.
