Sa Dha Arts aims to pass on traditional and ancient arts through their original methods, structure, languages and cultures of practice.
Sa Dha Arts offers training in three Indian Classical Art forms: Kathak, Hindustani Vocal and Tabla.
The most ancient learning systems were created to help us educate ourselves with regards to well being. 'Embodied practices' have been respected throughout the ages as a means to help every individual progress, adapt and and find focus in life.
Elite Practitioners of Indian Classical Arts ('Ustads', 'Gurus' or 'Pandits') passed down their knowledge orally from one generation to the next allowing the Arts to continuously be explored. SaDha Arts is a mechanism for sustaining and sharing the knowledge of it's Gurus and their forefathers here in the UK. Our locally trained senior students are taught how to pass their knowledge on whilst maintaining their training under their Gurus supervision.
Our concerts range from providing inexperienced students with a chance to perform, giving upcoming artists a professional platform and presenting some of the most renowned exponents in the world.
SaDhaArts is a registered charity and training in our arts is open to all. Recommended minimum starting age is 6yrs old. New comers are welcome to our Open Classes!
