Kundalini Yoga | Tuesdays, 8:15pm - 9:15pm | Greenhill Studio 4
The ancient healing practice of Kundalini Yoga uses breathwork, mantras, kriyas, meditations, and mudras to awaken your energy. This style is about releasing the kundalini energy in your body said to be trapped, or coiled, in the lower spine. Its goal is not only to make the body stronger and more energetic but also to increase your level of self-awareness and consciousness. Kundalini Yoga asana sequences are called kriyas. Mudras are the gestures you make when doing yoga, generally with your hands.
Yin Yoga with Soundbath | Wednesdays, 6:45pm - 7:45pm | The Boiler Room
The perfect class to choose if you want to calm your mind and stretch your body. Cosy clothes are encouraged! This special Yin class incorporates a longer savasana accompanied by Tibetan Bowls, chimes and Gong. It is so blissful! Yin is a slow passive practice where all poses are seated or lying down and are held for 2 to 4 minutes to release deep help tension in the deeper connective tissue and stimulate the body's energy meridians. The addition of the incredible Gong and Sound Bath aids healing and rejuvenation. This amazing ancient instrument along with Himalayan sound bowls helps to bring around an overall sense of relaxation which can reduce stress and help remove emotional blockages.
Hatha Yoga Stretch | Thursdays, 7:00 pm - 8:00pm | Pinner Room
Hatha Yoga Stretch is exactly as it states. A yoga class that is accessible to Beginner to Intermediate levels. The style of the class will depend on the teacher, so it could be Gentle flow with traditional Hatha elements or something less specific. All classes allow the students to find comfort and stability in all the postures and sequences. A beautiful class for everyone to enjoy.
