Harrow Arts Centre are excited to promote this evening of devotional music and meditation 'Legacy of the Agra Gharana' brought to you by Mehboob Nadeem who has hired the Elliott Hall for this special occasion.
Mehboob Nadeem and Prabhat Rao come together to explore the rich and powerful traditions of the Agra Gharana, presenting an immense repertoire of ragas and compositions.
This is a rare musical gathering that celebrates the depth, legacy, and timeless artistry of one of Hindustani classical music’s most influential gharanas paying tribute to torch bearers Ustad Vilayat Hussain Khan and Ustad Yakub Hussain Khan.
This performance promises a captivating interplay of structure and improvisation, where sensual melodies meet intricate rhythmic patterns, creating a spellbinding dialogue of rhyme and rhythm.
