Harrow Arts Centre will transition to a cashless payment system from Wednesday 1 April, as part of ongoing efforts to improve visitor experience, increase efficiency, and support safer, faster transactions across both sites.

From this date, cash payments will no longer be accepted at the box office and café for all purchases. Visitors will be able to pay using debit and credit cards, contactless payments, and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The move reflects changing customer preferences and aligns with best practice across cultural and heritage venues, helping to reduce queue times and improve security. Clear information and signage will be introduced across both venues ahead of the change, and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead by bringing a card or mobile payment method with them.

Staff will be on hand to support visitors, and both venues remain committed to being welcoming, accessible spaces for all.
