We are pleased to share some exciting news that work to replace the Weald and Grimsdyke buildings will soon begin at Harrow Arts Centre!
This marks a significant step forward for our site, and we hope you are all as excited as we are for these much-needed upgrades. As we work to complete this exciting development, we wanted to share some key details with you, to ensure you are kept informed.
Project Timeline
- Start Date: 12 January 2026
- Approximate Scheduled Completion: 26 March 2026
Access Restrictions
- The Link Building entrance will be restricted between 12/01/2026 and 23/01/2026. Please use the main HAC accessible entrance during this time.
- The route from the Harrow Arts Centre car park to the Elliott Hall Medical Centre will be closed between 12/01/2026 and 23/01/2026. Please use the pathway from the main road to access the Medical Centre during this time.
(We’ve been advised that access will only be unavailable for a couple of days during this period. Exact dates will be confirmed as soon as possible once the contractors have assessed the site.)
Car Park Closures
- The Harrow Arts Centre car park will be closed on 25/02/2026 and 26/02/2026 to allow cranes and delivery vehicles to operate safely. If these dates change, we will notify you.
Noise Impact
- During the initial demolition phase, there will naturally be some noise. The rooms that will be most affected are Canons, Stanmore, Kenton, Pinner and Roxeth.
