If you love drama, learning new skills and making new friends then our youth theatre for ages 7 – 11 is for you! The group meets once a week on Tuesdays from 4.30pm – 6pm.
Each week we start with games and warm up activities. We work in both small and large groups to create scenes and stories, showing each other what’s been created at the end of the class. Each term we will showcase your new skills to family and friends, and in the summer, you will work with a director to devise a whole show from scratch, performing in public at HAC as part of our main programme! You will gain confidence and skills in performing, technical theatre, alongside being a part of the wider community at Harrow Arts Centre with exclusive opportunities.
We asked some of our HAC Youth Theatre 7-11 members what they liked most about the group. This is what they had to say!
“Acting, play, making friends and building confidence”
“What I like most at HAC is playing games and creating plays”
“Meeting friends, playing games, making up a play, coming up with ideas and having fun”
HAC Youth Theatre 7 – 11 is part of the Children’s University.
HAC Youth Theatre also runs Arts Award, please see our Arts Award page for more info
