Harrow Arts Centre and Balkan Village band would like to invite you to join our musical summer community spectacle for adults and children of all ages. In preliminary community workshops, a giant puppet will be crafted from recycled materials (see Giant Puppet Making Workshops). This puppet will be taken out to the Harrow Town centre to celebrate life, music and art in a jolly parade.

The Balkan Village Band will perform merry music from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. We will move along the whole pedestrian area and invite everyone to join in, move along, sing along, dance alongside the puppet and our Gypsy dancers in colourful costumes. The procession will end with an extra little set of music and circle dancing for all to join in !
