This deceptively humble material can be crafted to stunning effect. Paper sculpting is a lesser known art-form that has many variations. In this series of workshops, designer Dan Maier will introduce you to some of the principles of cutting, folding and manipulating paper with gratifying results. Using nature as inspiration you will create foliage and flower pieces which can be used for wall decor, table decoration, or 3D artwork that can be box framed. These techniques can be further developed to create your own designs both during and between sessions.
A specially designed pack will be sent to your address in advance of the first workshop which will include some materials and templates. There may be additional items that you wish to provide yourself - a list of suggestions will be given on booking.
