Pottery and Ceramics Course
HAC HighlightFor Adults Aged 40+
Mondays, 21st March - 11th April
Dates & TicketsPottery takes a person out of the everyday routine, giving space for creative expressions, learning new skills and engaging with other people. These classes aim to bring joy through both process and result and facilitate a relaxed atmosphere.
Using moist clay, course attendees will learn to roll, to create coils forming a ceramic object and decorate these creations. We invite individuals to bring ideas to work on and share during the session and with the guidance of Vinicius who has extensive experience in hand building, create unique personalised artworks. Vinicius will lead each class with a demonstration and provide ideas for students new to hand-building. We aim for each student to have two finished and functional projects of hand made ceramics by the end of the 4th week. The final pieces will be fired and ready to collect within 2-4 weeks.
No previous experience is needed to attend - beginners welcome!
