Pottery is a sensory medium which gives space for creative expressions, learning new skills and engaging with other people. Colour and Clay's sensory workshop for children with special educational needs and their families, will bring various sensory stations where children and their families will be able to experiment with clay in all its forms.
Children will be encouraged to experience clay at their own level and will have the opportunity to create something out of clay or to simply experiment with mark making. The stations will provide dry and wet clay where children will have the opportunity to roll, pinch, flatten and tear the clay. This workshop's aim is to bring joy through both process and result and facilitate a relaxed atmosphere.
This workshop/course is presented with funding support from Learn Harrow. You will be required to register with Learn Harrow to take part in this workshop - instructions will follow in a separate email. It is really important you register as future funding for similar events depends on it.

A £1 non-refundable booking fee applies per booking transaction online and over the phone
