Harrow Arts Centre are excited to promote this local production of 'Parampara 2023' on behalf of 'PRSSV - Sangeet College', who have hired our venue for this special occasion.

The ancient knowledge and practice of Indian Classical Music and Dance has been practiced and handed down generation to generation in a chain known as Parampara. Come bear witness to the transformative effects of one of London’s finest showcases featuring Kathak dancers, Tabla ensembles, flautists and singers as they connect us with the stories of ancient texts with elements of modern day practice.

The show concludes with a finale performance of Blues Dharma: a musical alchemy of Blues and Ragas with leading musicians in their fields of Blues guitar, Vina, and Tabla.

PRSSV Performing Arts and Heritage has been presenting leading showcases since it established itself as a Charity in 1987 with master Tabla artist Pandit Sharda Sahai and leading educationalist Dr Frances Shepherd. Sangeet College is the student body that has long been recognised for teaching by leading practitioners that maintains the integrity of Indian Classical systems with Western methodologies.
