The 3.5 hour workshop with experienced tutor Cheryl Gould will be centred on studying aspects of drawing the classical proportions of the male nude. Poses will vary in length from 1 minute to 40 minutes.
The session usually starts with practising speed drawing using a single line to develop hand eye coordination: continuing with longer poses enables examining tonal relationships and form within the body using pencil, graphite and charcoal: developing skills, finding shortcuts to better proportion and composition will be covered during the day.
A group crit /looking at the drawings at the end of the day is a socially enjoyable,valuable,and inclusive aspect of this exciting workshop.
A variety of art materials will be suggested on booking your space.
N.B Spaces are limited- booked on a first come first served basis .
There are some basic materials available but you are advised to bring your own including a sketchbook and /or paper.
Please note No OIL PAINTS allowed No FIXATIVE allowed in classroom .
