During this course you will learn a Garba folk dance choreography to the popular Hellaro, movie soundtrack, ‘Vagyo Re Dhol,’ by Bhoomi Trivedi. The choreography will be based on movements and technique from SSGD’s core dance syllabus and grades. No previous dancing skills or knowledge of Garba dance is necessary.
These high-energy, fun-packed sessions will have you moving and grooving to the rhythm of Garba whilst making new friends.
What is Garba? Garba is a traditional form of Indian folk dance, consisting of claps, clicks, bends and spins. It is a dance of celebration, usually performed during the Hindu festival of Navratri, and amongst other joyous occasions.
