What's on Offer:

Harrow Arts Centre is thrilled to announce the return of our Young Creatives programme, dedicated to empowering and nurturing the talents of young adults aged 19-26. This year, we are running a longer course in consultation with long-standing partners LUNG, and in collaboration with delivery partner Orange Skies Theatre. With various expert guest speakers, facilitators and professionals from the industry, the course will run over two terms from September 2024 - April 2025.

The Autumn term will offer introductory training within different areas of the creative industries, such as Acting, Writing, Directing and Choreography, with the intention of developing your skills and provide an overall creative toolkit for you moving forwards. The Spring term will focus on developing these skills into a full scale ensemble performance, finishing with an intensive week of rehearsals and showcase in the Elliott Hall Theatre at Harrow Arts Centre. This will be a much more collaborative term where the group will share ideas together.

Participants will delve into various aspects of the creative process, including acting, filming, directing, technical effects, and more. The programme goes beyond giving you hands-on skills, offering valuable insights and industry knowledge to support participants in kickstarting their careers in the creative sector. What’s more, the course is FREE OF CHARGE and we will PAY YOU for the intensive rehearsal and showcase time so that you don’t miss out on regular income!

For those aspiring to make their mark in the creative industries and collaborate with other like-minded artists, this programme provides a unique opportunity to experience life in the limelight, backstage and beyond. Don't miss out on this chance to jumpstart your creative career—apply now!
