What is the Nimbus Access Scheme?

This scheme is designed for customers who require accessible adjustments to make their visit more comfortable, such as concessionary and essential companion tickets, communication support, priority entry and step-free seating.

Through this scheme, you can apply for a FREE Digital Access Pass specifically for use with Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum's ticketed events, or you can choose to apply for a Full Access Card that can be used across all participating venues in the UK and beyond.

By partnering with Nimbus Disability, a leading authority on accessible ticketing run by and for disabled people, we can better understand and meet your access requirements in a consistent and secure manner. This also helps to protect our provisions from potential misuse.

What is a FREE Digital Access Pass?

A FREE Digital Access Pass does not grant you with a physical card, but is an online account featuring symbols that discreetly highlight the barriers you face and the reasonable adjustments you may need. This allows Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum to view and support your needs without asking questions about your disability each time.

You can submit your application via Nimbus Disability here.

Once your Digital Access Pass has been approved, you will receive a digital ID number. Your account will be valid for 3 years. You can use your ID number to make bookings with the Box Office at Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum.

What is a Full Access Card?

A Full Access Card is a universal way of conveying your access requirements to thousands of venues and organisations who partner with Nimbus across the UK and beyond, including Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum.

You can submit your application via Nimbus Disability here.

The Access Card costs £15 and is valid for 3 years. Once your application has been approved, you will receive a physical card and ID number. The card features symbols that discreetly highlight the barriers you face and the reasonable adjustments you may need. It can be shown at the Box Office when booking tickets, or you can provide your ID number over the phone. It also comes with a directory of other participating venues that you can use it with.

What symbols are included and how do you meet these needs?

The symbols provided by Nimbus indicate requirements in relation to:

  • Standing and queuing
  • Difficulty standing
  • Accessing audible information
  • Accessing visual information
  • Long distances
  • Level Access
  • Guide dogs
  • Essential companion(s)
  • Difficulty with crowds
  • Urgent access to toilets

To view how we can cater to these access needs at both of our venues, please see a detailed explanation on the Nimbus Venue Directory

How do I apply?

To apply for either a FREE Digital Access Pass or Full Access Card please click here. You will be directed to a simple application form where you can choose which level of pass you would prefer.

What information do Nimbus ask for?

As part of your application to Nimbus Disability, you will need to provide relevant evidence and a narrative about your access requirements, allowing Nimbus to allocate the appropriate symbols to your account that represent the barriers you face. You will also be asked to provide a photo ID to validate your account.

You can view more detailed information and Nimbus Disability's Privacy Policy here.

It is important to note that Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum will never be shown personal details about your disability. Each time you book, we will only have access to the symbols on your account in order to allocate the appropriate services. We may need to ask you one or two general, logistical questions such as the size of your wheelchair or whether you would prefer an aisle seat. This is purely for the purpose of ensuring your comfort.

Do I have to pay for an Access Card?

Full Access Cards are £15, and can be used across all UK nationwide venues operating in partnership with Nimbus Disability, including Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum.

Digital Access Passes are free and specifically for use at Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum only.

Do Access Cards and Digital Passes have an expiry date?

Both options are valid for 3 years. You will then need to renew your Access Card or Digital Pass within 3 months of expiry via Nimbus here.

I already have a Full Access Card. Do I need to apply again?

If you have previously paid for a Full Access Card and it is still valid in date, please link your card to our venues here.

If you have a FREE Digital Pass with another venue, you will need to apply for a new account for use within our venues.

Can I upgrade to a Full Access Card after I've signed up for FREE Digital Pass?

Yes! You can absolutely upgrade your account. You'll need to contact Nimbus via email or telephone here.

Can I apply for an Access Card or Pass over the phone?

While your application must be made through Nimbus, their friendly customer service team are on hand to help with telephone applications. You can contact them via email or telephone here.

Can I still get a free carer without a card or pass?

The purpose of our partnership with Nimbus is to ensure accessible services are used correctly. Therefore, only those with the additional companion (+1 /+2) symbol on their Access Card or Digital Access Pass will be eligible for a free carer ticket.

We are implementing this change for new bookings from 1st May 2026, so that our customers have time to make their applications. If your companion tickets were purchased before May 2026, they will still be valid for use.

I am coming to see a show soon but have not yet signed up to the Nimbus Access Scheme. How will you accommodate my needs?

The Nimbus Access Scheme will be officially launched at Harrow Arts Centre and Headstone Manor & Museum from 1st May 2026.

Customers making new bookings for shows following this date will need an Access Card or Digital Pass with the corresponding symbols (+1 /+2) to be eligible for a free companion ticket(s). All existing companion bookings are still valid for use.

We always aim to be accessible and while the Access Scheme makes our delivery of these services more efficient, appropriate existing accommodations are already available. If you require assistance, please feel free to contact our Box Office to discuss your needs via box.office@harrowarts.com or over the phone on 020 3773 7161
