This workshop will take inspiration from both a children’s book and the surroundings of HAC for this nature inspired printmaking workshop. The practitioners will teach you monotype and gelli plate, which is a great introduction to printmaking. It is a way of producing expressive one-off images utilising the strengths of printmaking together with the spontaneity of painting and drawing.
All printmaking materials will be provided (ink, rolls, press, plexi glass, gelli plate) as well as an introduction to the colour wheel and how the primary colours mix to make the secondary colours will be introduced. At the end of this workshop each family will be able to take home a number of prints ready to be framed and displayed!
This workshop is presented with funding support from Learn Harrow. You will be required to register with Learn Harrow to take part in this workshop - instructions will follow in a separate email. It is really important you register as future funding for similar events depends on it.
