The Great British Husband Hunt

Her wedding dress is ready.
The ceremony has begun.
But there’s just one problem... there’s no groom.

A playful and absurd solo clown show combining clowning, physical comedy, improvisation and audience interaction, following a Chinese woman on her increasingly ridiculous mission to become the perfect British bride.

Come for the wedding. Stay for the chaos.
Help her get ready for her British husband... or at least survive the evening.

Will her perfect British wedding go according to plan... or make a complete mess of it?

The audience can help, interact, or simply sit back and watch as she prepares for her British husband and tries to stage the perfect British wedding. Audience participation is always optional.

This performance is presented as a Working in Progress following a two-week R&D supported by Arts Council England.
