An Evening of Indian Classical Arts
Part 1 — Krishna: A Journey in Dance
A fusion of Bharatanatyam and Kathak tracing the life and leelas of Lord Krishna starting from Mathura, Vrundavan, Dwaraka and Udupi, performed by UK-based classical dance artists. (approx. 40 mins)
Part 2 — Hindustani Flute Recital
Maestro Shadaj Godkhindi (Bansuri) — Son and disciple of flute maestro Pandit Pravin Godkhindi, accompanied by Sarang Ravindra on Tabla (UK). (approx. 90 mins)
Part 3 — Carnatic Mandolin & World Instruments Concert
Maestro S M Subhani (Mandolin & World Instruments), accompanied by Aparna Raghuraman on Violin (daughter and disciple of Vidwan Balu Raghuraman, UK) and Deepika Srinivasan on Mridangam (disciple of Patri Satish Kumar). (approx. 90mins)
