Futureword.london returns to Harrow Arts Centre!
Are you a fan of the Spoken Word with music and video?
After a successful launch in June, we are thrilled to announce the return of futureword.london at the iconic Harrow Arts Centre.
Words2Music will be presenting a selection of varied original published poems performed by Alice B, accompanied by live ambient music by Marek with immersive imagery.
Each poem has a story behind it which forms the introduction to each poem, adding a unique insight into Alice's inner creative world. The cascading layers of sound follow the sense of the words providing an audible mirror of ethereal reflection. Many themes are explored: Nature, The life of a Victorian Sex Worker, Homelessness, Mindfulness, plus some Saucy Humour, a little something for everyone.
Loved how accessible the poetry was. The introductions to each one gave context and improved impact on audience.
Alice Benson delivered a lovely set of poems, with both musical accompaniment and visuals to match the mood of each.
Friendly relaxed dynamic performance. Introductions to each piece were helpful and meaningful especially as there was a range of topics.
Personal and heartfelt performance with great commitment, humour and passion.
The poetry was written and performed perfectly with atmospheric projected images. This show is unique and unusual, it makes a change from the norm. I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend it. It definitely deserves the whole five stars.
