This class practises the ancient Chinese exercise system of Taichi, originally performed as a martial art, but now taught as a gentle sequence of slow, continuous movements, using the whole body. Taichi has been widely documented and appreciated for its benefits to physical and mental wellbeing, among them are natural breathing, improvement in balance, concentration, coordination and stronger legs and better mobility.
