Through our in-house participation programme, HAC has always sought to champion the creativity of young adults and provide opportunities to help develop to their fullest potential. In a time when we all need a little inspiration, we believe that no one has more power to uplift our communities than young artists.

HAC is therefore thrilled to announce four new commissions for the #HACfromhome strand – all created by young artists aged 16-25 who live, work or study in Harrow. The work is fresh, exciting and inspired by the initial lockdown experienced in spring 2020. Each work provides joy, interaction and inspiration, but collectively they also bring thoughtful critique to current social, political and economic systems - enabling us as the audience to enter the experiences of young people during lockdown.
